Stories Found

Stories Found is a documentary film training initiative that offers hands-on, intensive, and high-value educational opportunities for emerging filmmakers worldwide.

  • The Stories Found intensive is a week-long filmmaking workshop, wherein a small group of highly-motivated filmmakers work together to shoot and edit a short documentary.

  • In the lead up to the 2020 Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, the Teen Doc Intensive utilized the Stories Found online documentary training course as a primer for high-school students participating in the intensive. With the curriculum made available in the online course, students will have the tools to be able to effectively find and share compelling documentary stories from their own communities.
